About the site
Tucked away in the large village of Cheddar, Somerset, this peaceful adults only glamping site is perfect for couples or small groups of friends. With stunning hilltop views over the Somerset Levels, it offers a quiet countryside escape and in easy reach of top attractions, like, Cheddar Gorge (20 minutes), Wookey Hole (15 minutes), and Glastonbury (30 minutes). Guests can stay in one of four spacious glamping domes, each raised on wooden decking and furnished with a double bed, dressing table, vanity mirror, bedside tables, lamps, electric sockets, a heater, and extra blankets. Outside, is a patio with a picnic bench, gas BBQ, fire pit, and a garden table with chairs. There is also a natural pond that provides a peaceful spot to unwind and enjoy the wildlife. On the other side of the field, is a communal barn with a log burner, a sofa, a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, and washing-up facilities. Below the barn, guests will find a toilet and hot shower facilities with heated floors. The site is also an excellent base for exploring further afield, with Bristol within a 40 minute drive away. BBQs and fire pits are welcome, with a complimentary bag of logs and kindling provided. Additional wood is available for £5 per bag of kindling and £10 per bag of logs. The site is not dog friendly.
Open Easter weekend of this year and will shut at the end of September for the winter.

4m x 4m dome bell tents with a double bed, bedside tables, lamps, plug sockets, a gas BBQ, and a fire pit. Bedding and towels included. Guests have access to a shared facility unit with a kitchenette and dining area. Sorry, no dogs allowed.

*Check-in is from 3pm-9pm and check out is by 10:30am on the day of your departure.
*The site doesn't allow stag or hen do's
*No dogs/pets are permitted.
*Smoking or vaping is prohibited.
*BBQs are allowed outside and campfires are only allowed in the firepits provided.
*The site is an adults only site, no children are permitted.
*Please keep noise to a minimum, with absolute quiet between 11pm and 7am.
Things to do on site and in the Cheddar area
On the slopes of the Mendip Hills, you can take a short hike up to Draycott Sleights for panoramic views over Somerset or explore the West Mendip Way. A 15 minute walk in one direction takes you to Cheddar and all it has to offer from restaurants, bars, cheese and of course the Gorge.
In the other direction, a 30 minute walk over the hill and you will reach Priddy, well-known for its annual folk festival and local pub 'The Queen Vic' and its Christmas gingerbread house. If you do want to go further, one of Britain's smallest cities, Wells, and the caves at Wookey Hole are just ten minutes away.
To round it off, a local cider barn is within a five minute walk which offers live music and delicious pizzas.
