About Lloyds Meadow Glamping
This small glamping site is situated in an ideal spot to explore Chester and the surrounding area. You'll find up to ten bell tents, well spaced out within ten acres and looking out over the shimmering waters of the lakes. The setting is so peaceful and beautiful, it's full of romance. The team at Lloyds Meadow are committed to giving all glampers a luxurious experience, and are deservedly proud of the consistent 5 star rave reviews received since opening. All of the deluxe 5 metre bell tents have built-in ground sheets (less chance of bugs moving in) and are carpeted with recycled cotton Chindi rugs ethically sourced from India. You'll be sleeping on full-size double or king size beds with award-winning mattresses and high quality 12 tog feather and down duvets for those extra snuggly nights. Off-grid fairy lights and solar lamps help to create an ambient, relaxing atmosphere during the evening, but don't forget to bring a torch for late-night visits to the bathroom. The lack of light pollution means you have wonderful stargazing opportunities right outside your bell tent, so why not chuck a log on the campfire kick back relax and look up who knows you may even see a shooting star. For an additional cost, upgrade your trip with fantastic packages and hampers delivered to your door including breakfast. romance packages, Champagne or Prosecco chilled for your arrival, BBQ kit including locally sourced produce. There is a great pub within a five minute walk serving food daily from 12- 9pm. There is also a local train station (Mouldsworth) opposite the pub which connects Manchester to Chester. Sorry, dogs are not allowed onsite.

Things to do on site and in the Chester area
If you like exploring there is so much to do locally you can stay for a week and not run out of things to do, whether you want to kick back and enjoy nature or be more active.
You're only a five minute walk to Mouldsworth railway station, and from there you can get to Chester, Manchester or explore the villages and towns en route.
For nature lovers looking to explore, there are a whole load of walks within the local area and you're only one mile from Delamere Forest.
Adrenaline junkies can quench their thirst with loads of high action adventure including go ape, segway, hovercraft, dust karting and quad biking only 15 mins away. Shoppers will be delighted with a visit to the famous Cheshire Oaks designer shopping outlet or a trip into historic Chester a few miles away.
Chester is a haven for great places to eat and drink, you could take a leisurely boat trip down the river Dee, watch one of the outdoor theatre performances that take place throughout the summer or, if you fancy a flutter, Chester races may be for you.
The Goshawk pub is only four minutes' walk away from the site. It's a former 19th century coaching inn so has loads of character. The outdoor areas have been recently renovated and its the perfect place to sit and chill with a cold drink.
A short drive away takes you to the Morris Dancer in Kelsall - great for relaxing drinks, alfresco and delicious food, or in the opposite direction still only 5 minutes drive away you have the White Lion in Alvanley. Chesterfields and the Fishpool Inn are both about 15 minutes drive and the food is highly recommended in both restaurants.
