What better way to see our beautiful countryside than via a long distance walking route? These can all be enjoyed in shorter sections if you prefer (the longest route on this list takes seven weeks of dedication!).
- Pennine Way - the trip of a lifetime, this is the toughest and oldest trail in the UK.
- South Upland Way - this Scottish coast-to-coast route is remote and spectacular.
- The Ulster Way - an incredible 1000km of the best sights and scenery in Northern Ireland.
- South Downs Way - be charmed by England's loveliest countryside.
- Pembrokeshire Coast Path - see some of Wales' most breathtaking coastal views.
- The Ridgeway - follow in the footsteps of our Bronze Age ancestors.
- Offa's Dyke Path - this 8th Century dyke takes you down the England/Wales border.
- Great Glen Way - walk alongside Scotland's most beautiful waterways.
- Hadrian's Wall Path - Roman coast-to-coast in northern England.
- South West Coast Path - England's longest footpath along a stunning coastline.
