Here are Woodrow's ten favourite routes:

  • Kennet and Avon Canal is the UK's most popular long distance waterside cycle route, taking you from Bath to Reading.
  • Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal is a brilliant cycle route through the incredible Brecon Beacons National Park.
  • Grand Union Canal is the UK's longest, allowing you to cycle all the way from Birmingham to London.
  • Caledonian Canal offers unbeatable scenery as you cycle through the spectacular Highlands of Scotland.
  • Grand Western Canal explores the enchanting landscapes and villages of green and peaceful mid-Devon.
  • Llangollen Canal crosses the border between Wales and England and is known for being one of the most beautiful waterways in the UK.
  • Lancaster Canal travels from Preston via the Silverdale Coast and the Forest of Bowland to Kendal in the Lake District.
