Sutton on Sea

The picturesque Central Beach in the village of Sutton on Sea is great for families with young children and visitors who are looking to take things at a relaxed pace, with plenty of sand that’s perfect for building sandcastles, safe swimming, as well as handy facilities including cafes, a first aid post, deck chair and beach hut hire and toilets. Kids can also burn off some energy in the outdoor play area. There is a selection of nearby walks to enjoy if you are keen to stretch your legs or alternatively opt for two wheels and enjoy a lazy bike ride along the cycle route. You can be assured that this 2013 Blue Flag winner will provide a clean and fun day out by the sea.

Mablethorpe Central Beach

Mablethorpe Central Beach which has also been awarded a 2013 Blue Flag. The beach offers safe swimming and there are lots of watersports to participate in such as canoeing, windsurfing, and sailing. There are lots of fun activities to enjoy on dry land too, including donkey rides, a nearby fairground and crazy golf.

Anderby Creek

Anderby Creek Beach is a stunning unspoilt beach that’s ideal for people who want to avoid large crowds and enjoy a relaxing and quiet escape. The facilities are minimal but include toilets, a car park and a few places to pick up refreshments. In addition to the stunning stretches of sand, visitors should head to the Anderby Creek Cloud Bar which is the world’s first official cloudspotting area.

Donna Nook Seal Beach

A great beach for animal lovers, Donna Nook Seal Beach offers excellent opportunities to get up close to a grey seal colony. Donna Nook is a nature reserve and breeding location for the seals in autumn and winter. A viewing area is open from late October to December and provides a superb place from which to see and photograph the seals. The nature reserve is also rich in birdlife all year round.

Cleethorpes North Promenade

Cleethorpes North Promenade offers plenty of action for sports enthusiasts and families. Visitors keen to have fun in the water can participate in a wide choice of watersports including windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing, swimming, kayaking and jet-skiing. There are lots of handy facilities such as a first aid point, toilets, cafes, a lost child centre, as well as beach hut and deck chair hire. The nearby Pleasure Island Theme Park is sure to be a hit with adults and kids. The expansive stretches of sand are great for young kids to get busy with buckets and spades while older visitors relax in the sun.

Moggs Eye (Huttoft Beach)

Moggs Eye or Huttoft beach near the town of Mablethorpe is a large and pretty beach that’s dog-friendly, offering an abundance of space for your furry companion to enjoy a seaside sprint or test their digging skills in the sand. This beach is surrounded by beautiful countryside and sandhills leading down to the dunes. This is a good swimming beach and there are some great walks near by.
