These large stones are perfectly spaced so you can hop across from one bank of the river to the other! It’s an unusual and tranquil place to visit, and it’s completely free.

Chatsworth House

This historic country estate of Chatsworth House has over 100 acres of gardens, complete with famous giant water features and waterfalls. The house is as beautiful inside as it is out, with a large art collection running through the luxurious halls and architecturally stunning rooms.

Eyam

Eyam is a wonderful little village with a gruesome history. The black plague was discovered in the village in 1665 and the village chose to isolate itself to stop the infection spreading. There is a good museum in the village that tells this incredible story.

Poole’s Cavern

Explore beneath the surface of the earth at Poole’s Cavern!
