1. Lincolnshire Wolds

The famous Lincolnshire Wolds are stunning rolling hills and valleys made from chalk, limestone and sandstone. The wolds make a great place to take a long, scenic walk or family bike ride. Designated an Area of Outstanding Beauty, visitors to this fantastic region are sure to be wowed by the stunning views.

2. Tattershall Castle

The unforgettable Tattershall Castle is a very unusual and impressive red brick building which is 6 stories high. Built in the 15th Century, the castle offers visitors the chance to learn what life was like here in medieval times. Don’t miss the spectacular view from the roof.

3. Donna Nook Nature Reserve

Donna Nook Nature Reserve sits on the low-lying coast of Lincolnshire. The area is thriving with wildlife most notably grey seals, of which there is thought to be around 3000 at particular times of the year. The reserve is a popular spot for visitors who come to see the seals and various birdlife such as brent geese, gulls, woodcocks and linnets.

4.Burghley Park

Burghley Park is a beautiful, elegant Tudor mansion set in stunning parkland with free roaming deer. Visitors can take a guided tour of the house and visit the excellent gardens full of fascinating plants, water fountains and sculptures. Don’t miss the mirrored maze that will definitely keep the kids amused.

5. Steep Hill

Steep Hill is the name given to an unusual street in the brilliant city of Lincoln that was voted ‘Britain’s Best Street’ in 2012. This street is so steep that it is very difficult to walk up and down. Nonetheless the street is full of independent and specialist shops selling fashion and vintage clothing, bookshops, food and drink and much more.

6. Skegness

Love it or loathe it, Skegness is the epitome of a traditional British seaside resort. Popular Skegness beach has something for everybody from traditional seaside activities such as sandcastle building, amusement arcades and exhilarating fairground rides. Relax on a deckchair with an ice-cream, explore the pier, and enjoy some fish and chips - classic.

7. Lincoln Cathedral

Lincoln Cathedral is a huge spectacular building offering incredible architecture and fascinating history. Visitors will be left in awe at the intricate details of the structure of the cathedral and admire the many treasures to see inside.

8. The Lincolnshire Coast

The Lincolnshire coast is full of wonderful sandy beaches, charming coastal towns and classic seaside resorts. The small village of Sutton-on-Sea is ideal if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main towns, whereas towns like Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes have a whole host of things to do. 9. High Ropes Adventure

High Ropes Adventure makes for a really fun day out. This is a great way to keep kids (and adults) of all ages entertained by getting them active on adrenaline-fuelled courses in the tree tops. You navigate your way through the trees climbing and zip-wiring your way around the course, all the while safely harnessed to help rid of those nerves.

10. Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary

Everyone loves donkeys! The lovely Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary is non-profit organisation that offers wonderful homes to donkeys that have been rescued. You can meet and feed the donkeys, have a nice cup of coffee in the café and spend an enjoyable afternoon here.
