In addition a wonderful collection of statues and water features can be found across the garden, ensuring that a treasure trove of delights can be discovered wherever visitors roam.

Filey Beach

If golden sands and watersports sound like your ideal family day out, Filey beach is the place to go. The beach is around seven miles south of Scarborough and offers a host of convenient facilities including toilets, cafes, first aid and lost child services as well as beach huts and deckchairs that can be hired. Hesketh Farm Park

Get ready for animal adventures at Hesketh Farm Park which is situated in the Yorkshire Dales just outside the village of Bolton Abbey. Visitors can explore the farm and see residents including cows, pigs and sheep and there is also a café that provides tasty refreshments.

York Maze

York Maze will exercise both the mind and body as explorers attempt to navigate Britain’s biggest maze. The maze incorporates over a million growing maize plants which are harvested annually and used as animal feed, so a new maze is grown every year. The maze plants are planted to form a different theme each year too. In addition to discovering the delights of the maze young kids will also love getting involved in a fun obstacle course, whooshing down an inflatable slide and testing their skills in the climbing zone. The water play area, quad bikes and pig racing are just some of the other exciting things to look forward to so no member of the family will be short of fun activities to keep them busy.
