About Woolacombe Sands Holiday Park
This family run holiday park provides an ideal, fun-filled getaway on the North Devon Coast. Enjoy wonderful sea views (that you can even admire from the outdoor swimming pool!), with Woolacombe Beach only a 15-20 minute walk away. The top onsite facilities also mean you will never be short of things to do! For tents, trailer tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes there are a range of grass and hardstanding pitches to choose from. Each allows up to six guests with some also including their own electric hook up. If you want the best views in the house, you can opt for one of the fully serviced hardstanding super pitches. These include pitch-side lighting, an electric hook up, water point, a TV point and guaranteed sea and countryside views! You can also choose to stay in one of the luxury sea view glamping cabins. Sleeping up to six (maximum four adults), the cabins include an L-shaped sofa bed, a mezzanine double or twin bed, plus a dining table that converts into a large double, with all duvets and pillows provided. Do note, linen is not included but can be hired from the site. The open-plan lounge/kitchen includes a dining area, a TV, a gas hob, a cooker, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, a fridge and all of the cooking equipment you will need for cooking up a tasty meal. There is also heating to keep you toasty, along with a private ensuite with a shower, loo and hand basin. Outside you will have a private decking area, with some of the cabins also having their own optional hot tub for enjoying a glass of bubbly in the evening. Dogs are welcome (even in the clubhouse) on all of the pitches and in the pet friendly glamping cabins so that every family member enjoys the holiday and feels included. After all, you wouldn't leave the kids at home! A range of holiday homes and seasonal super pitches are also available onsite.
Woolacombe Sands Holiday Park is open from 22/03 to 03/11.
Site facilities include disabled access toilets and showers, a family bathroom and a laundrette. There are heated swimming pools, both indoor and outside. The outdoor swimming pool is open between April and September. You'll also find a shop and a licensed clubhouse and food bar with nightly children and adult entertainment.
For entertainment, there is a kids club (daily except Monday and Friday), an amusement arcade, UV bowling, a play park, crazy golf and a football/basketball Astro pitch. There are pool tables, a dog walking area, a DVD player hire, a book swap and puzzles available too.
Next door to the park is the local horse riding stables and it's a 15 minute walk to the beach via a footpath.

The park is the perfect choice for a fun-filled holiday in North Devon, offering onsite entertainment offering music, dancing, cabaret, bingo, game shows and quizzes. Also for the little ones, there are daily sessions in the Woolly Bear Club during the mornings and evenings.

You're just a 15-20 minute walk from one of the UK's top beaches, Woolacombe, so grab a bucket and spade and prepare to spend days by the seaside. Sea and river fishing, golf, tennis, horse riding and surfing are all available in the area.
If you prefer more secluded spots, there are plenty of other beaches around Woolacombe to explore such as Combesgate, Barricane and Grunta Beach, all within a five minute drive!
Explore the beauty of Exmoor and visit Ilfracombe (10 minutes) with its shops and harbour with steamer trips to Lundy Island.
A visit to the historic market town of Barnstaple (25 minutes), especially on market days, is also a must. Woolacombe and Mortehoe are also famous for the National Trust stunning walks that can take you in any direction you fancy, and cater for novice or keen ramblers.
Funder Island (5 minutes) provides some family fun with pirate-inspired crazy golf, karts, boats and outdoor fun or, if you need to catch your breath, relax in one of the many ice cream shops with a cream tea or perhaps other local delights.
