Lincoln Yurts

It is our aim to make your visit to our yurts a Great experience that you will remember your time here . However we must ask that you read and accept the following terms and conditions which must be complied with by all persons at Lincoln Yurts as a guest. These enable us maintain our standards, to assist in proper management and ensure your safety as well as establishing a clear legal contract for cancellation, damage and exceptional circumstance.

Arrival and Departure:

All Yurts are available from 3pm on day of arrival and must be left in a clean condition not later than 11am on Monday or Friday (depending on booking dates).

Departure:

On departure all yurts are to be left clean and tidy. All rubbish is to be disposed of responsibly in the bins beside the cabin.

Booking:

When you make a booking and payment an email confirming the dates and times of your holiday will be sent to you. Booking and payment is considered the establishment of a legal contract. Please be aware that group bookings are not permitted and no more than 3 yurts maybe booked online. Occasionally we allow a group booking and this can be discussed.

Cancellation by You:

We understand that circumstances change and emergencies occur. Unfortunately if you cancel your booking within one month of your stay all monies will be lost. For all cancelations made with more than 30 days remaining then the 30% non refundable deposit will be lost. All cancellations must be in writing either by post or email. In the event of cancellation by you we do recommend that holiday insurance is purchased to protect you from loss. If you wish to transfer the date of your stay outside the cancellation time then your booking must be taken within a 6 month period from the original date of your stay. On cancellation we have the right to resell the booking. All bookings are none transferable.

Cancellation by Us:

Extreme Conditions:

Lincoln yurts reserve the right to cancel a holiday in light of extreme conditions of: weather, terrorism or war. In any of these very unlikely circumstances your full Payment will be returned to you. Emergency Contingency: Lincoln yurts reserve the right to cancel a holiday at short notice if for unforeseeable circumstances we are unable to provide safe accommodation in a yurt due to extreme conditions, ill health, fire or administration or any other extenuating circumstance. Under such unlikely circumstances your full payment will be returned. Lincoln Yurts cannot accept liability or responsibility for any loss, including consequential loss caused by cancellation. If we find that any person has booked more than 3 yurts then we will cancel your booking without giving any refund. We do not accept group bookings and allow you to book up to 3 yurts maximum. If you wish to book more than 3 yurts then you must contact us directly regarding availability.

Gift Vouchers

If you have purchased a gift voucher from us please note that its validity is one year from the purchase date. If the voucher is not used in this time then it is deemed invalid.

Transfer of Stay

If you wish to transfer your booking to another person then we need to be informed in writing or email and a £25.00 surcharge is implemented.

Breakages and Damage:

If on your arrival you find any items or fittings, utensils, crockery or cutlery is broken, damaged or missing, please report it to Darren on the phone numbers given and it will be replaced. We do accept a degree of wear and tear but should any significant damage or breakage occur during the period of your stay you will be held responsible for and must make good to the lowest market value. We reserve the right to charge for excessive cleaning where a yurt has been left in an unacceptable condition, through waste, litter, interference in the structure, movement of furniture and contents etc.

Individual Yurt:

The yurt allocated to you on confirmation of your booking is provisional and we reserve the right to alter this to an equally suitable yurt on arrival if necessary. All yurts are identical except for colour, theme and position in the field.

Children:

The site is an amazing place for children to play but you are responsible for them at all times. If you are concerned about them being around a wood burning stove then ask for a wrap around fire guard. Lincoln Yurts accept no responsibility for injury incurred on site.

Terrain:

Lincoln Yurts are located on a flat field and is mostly well drained apart from when extreme rainfall occurs. The ground my become wet and sludgy and slippy underfoot. Please make sure that you bring adequate clotting and footwear to cope with this type of weather.

Peace and Tranquillity:

Anyone committing a nuisance contrary to the peace of the yurts will be asked to leave immediately and without a refund.

Maximum Occupants:

Under no circumstances may the maximum number of 5 people sleeping in each yurt be exceeded. Guests are not permitted to invite friends to the yurts at any time during their stay without prior approval from Darren or Katherine.

Negligence:

Guests will be held responsible for any fire, damage or alteration to the structure caused by negligence.

Facilities:

Lincoln Yurts provide the wood and gas needed for your booked stay as well as use of the the showers, bath and toilets on site. Please note: These facilities are for booked Lincoln Yurts guests only and must be left in the manner in which you would like to receive them.

Stolen Property:

Lincoln Yurts cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen property. Padlocks are provided on request but you are advised to bring your own.

No Smoking Policy:

All Lincoln Yurts hold a strict NO SMOKING POLICY smoking in any of our yurts will result in a fine of up to £100 in order to clean to a satisfactory standard. Anyone who smokes outside of the yurts is responsible for disposing of their cigarette butts in a bin and NOT littering the surrounding area of the yurt.

Wildlife:

There is an abundance of wildlife on site. Enjoy it but be careful. Put your food in the containers provided otherwise mice will try and eat it. Don't leave garbage outside of the yurts. Foxes and badgers will scatter it. Check before sitting down in the grass. Bring insect repellent in the summer months, horse flies, midges and mosquitoes appear.

Parental Supervision:

Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children on site. All Children under 13 years must not be left alone in the yurts at any time.

Fireworks

We do not allow fireworks on the site as we are very close to the equestrian field and don't wish to alarm the horses.
