About Pier Cottage Caravan Park
Surrounded by sweeping views of the fells, this small and family run park looks out over Coniston Water and enjoys direct access to the lake as well as being an ideal starting point for hikes up Tarn Hows and the Old Man of Coniston. The site provides guests with a range of serviced touring pitches all including water, electric, TV connection point and even WiFi - installed and run by the techy team onsite to ensure you receive a good signal. Dogs welcome too.

To ensure the smooth running of the caravan park for all please abide by the following rules:
Arrival Time - From 1pm onwards
Departure Time - Up until 11am
No Fires

All dogs must be on a lead
Access Road - Please wait until oncoming traffic has arrived before setting off

Things to do on site and in the Coniston area
There are many walks from the site, be it along the lake shore to coincide with a boat trip or to enjoy a view from Wetherlam or Swirl How on a clear day. There are a number of fantastic bike routes on road or mountain bike, including Hard Knot Pass if you're up for a healthy challenge!
For the avid walker there is Coniston Old Man to conquer. Coniston village centre is just a ten minute walk away where you'll find a plentiful supply of cafes, pubs and the Steam Bistro.
Bluebird Cafe is a mere five minute walk along the shore and Ruskin Museum offers a wealth of local history.
Coniston hosts many events including the ever popular 'Coniston 14' road run around the lake.
