Tremanor Farm is the ideal choice for those looking for a back-to-basics camping experience on the South Cornwall coast. There are around 100 unallocated grass pitches for campers to pitch their tents on as they wish. You'll be staying just 15 minutes from the Eden Project and five minutes from stunning sandy beaches.

We arrived just before dinner the first night and set up the tent, the grass is a little bit sloped but was easy enough to find a flat bit either the top or bottom of the field. We all had showers which were lovely and warm. The toilets are clean for being on a campsite as are the showers. We met the owners who were lovely and friendly. They recommended pubs nearby and the farmer let us use his barn to help dry out our belongings as it was raining the first night. Overall our experience was fab lots of space for games and a lovely little spot for a couple nights of camping. Would definitely recommend the welcome home inn that is nearby too fab food and very reasonably priced, we went both nights for dinner there we were that impressed.

A beautiful and tranquil location just outside Fowey with panoramic views of the sea and countryside. Very simple facilities with small toilet block and showers with plenty of hot water. Water available on the site with bins and some recycling. The owner is very friendly and helpful with recommendations about where to go and what to eat.

This was absolutely brilliant. We were very lucky with the weather, and being end of season, the site was not busy at all. We loved every second - in fact we booked two extra nights on the end of our stay as well. The toilets were clean and well maintained, and the showers were always warm no matter the time of day - very useful if you intend to spend time out on the sea or river! Tessa and Michael were both friendly and helpful. We definitely intend to return!
