Nestled between Ramsey and Peel on the West Coast of the Isle of Man, Ballaugh Camping is a family run campsite with electric grass pitches, luxury bell tents and glamping pod. Welcoming friends, families and dogs alike, it's a great spot for a fun-filled holiday. As well being a five minute drive from Ballaugh Beach, you're also metres away from Ballaugh Bridge which offers excellent vantage points for watching the TT and Manx Grand Prix.
About the site
Located on Ballamoar Farm, this vibrant campsite is run by a traditional Manx farming family. The site offers grass pitches with optional electric hook ups for tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes. The pitches are spacious and offer great views of the surrounding countryside. If you're more glamper than a camper, don't fret! There are also luxury bell tents available to hire, along with a self catering glamping pod. The bell tents are fully furnished and sleep up to four. Inside, you'll find a double bed, two single beds, comfortable seating, storage, cosy lighting and tea and coffee making facilities. Outside, you'll find your own decking area, BBQ, fire pit and outdoor seating. Bedding is provided too! There pod comes with a double bed, kitchenette, seating and ensuite facilities. From sunset strolls along Ballaugh Beach to watching wallabies in Ballaugh Curraghs, grabbing a drink at The Raven or exploring the Old Railway, there's plenty to do nearby. You're also excellently located for watching the TT and Manx Grand Prix, two of the island's most anticipated annual events. Head to Ballaugh Bridge and enjoy unrivalled views of the famous motorcycle races. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome but must be kept on leads around the site. However, there are plenty of winding coastal walks nearby to explore with your pup.

Things to do on site and in the Ballaugh area
The site is located by numerous hikes and trails including the old railway lines, Curraghs Reserve, Ballaugh Glen, Glen Dhoo and a number of greenways. Ballaugh Beach is a five minute drive away which joins miles upon miles of sandy beach up and down the West Coast.
Adventureology is located two minutes up the road and offers outdoor activities such as kayaking, mountain biking, and den building to just name a few! The site can organise trips and they can even pick you up straight from the site
If something a bit more relaxing is needed then the Country retreat offers holistic body and facial treatments which are just heavenly and only metres from the site.
