Celyn Brithion is a peaceful, family run site set amongst the spectacular scenery of the Snowdonia National Park. Pitch up in a tent or tourer and start exploring the area as you're within easy reach of several stunning beaches, fabulous walks and a varied choice of activities for the more adventurous.

About Celyn Brithion

The site offers grass pitches for tourers, campers and tents with electric hook ups available on some of the pitches, and is perfectly placed for getting to know the entire national park. This is an area you'll love to visit again and again. Children are always welcome and pets are welcome too.

Facilities and amenities

Site facilities include toilets and showers (20p coin operated). WiFi also available.

The Buckley Arms Hotel and the Red Lion both serve food and drink and are under a mile from the site.

Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and must not foul on site. Hygienic disposal of any fouling is the responsibility of the dog owner.

No open fires allowed.


There is so much to enjoy in the area here, with unlimited walking and climbing for the more adventurous and Aran Ridge almost on your doorstep. Cader Idris is also a short drive from the site.

The area is also steeped in history, myth and legend, where you can enjoy an inspiring walk to the scene of King Arthur's last battle at Camlann.

There are plenty of activities to get involved in that cater for a variety of tastes from golfing to mountain biking, quad biking and clay shooting.

Make time to also explore the slate caverns at Llechwedd, the Centre for Alternative Technology, RSPB Centres, Zip World, and more. There is also, of course, the famous Mach loop for all you keen plane spotting photographers.
