Marshland Alpacas Site is an adult only camping, touring and Glamping site, open all year round. You'll find it peaceful, clean and tidy - in fact the site was nominated for Best Certificated Site in 2015 and 2017. Best of all - plenty of cuddly alpacas are waiting to meet you! Don't miss tranquil walks by the Humber, and great transport links from the local village (5 mins walk) are available to help you explore. Pet friendly.
About Marshland Alpacas Certificated Site
This is a well maintained, small site run by Julie and Gary as part of their alpaca farm. Here you can hob-nob with beautiful alpacas while soaking up the soothing scenery. Alpaca feeding is every morning at 9:30am, Guests are welcome to join in. Marshland Alpacas is on a closed end road with only one farm beyond it - so very quiet, with little traffic. If a quiet, chilled pace of life is what you're after, then this is a great site for you. You'll be next to open countryside along the River Humber with its rich wildlife and beautiful birds. All facilities are maintained to a high standard, and there are both grass tent pitches available for campers and hardstanding pitches with hedge borders, many of them with electric. You're welcome to cook up a tasty BBQ at your pitch. There is even a glamping lodge, which is something extra special. It adds a sprinkle of glam with a kingsize bed, a microwave, an electric grill and a porch with bistro style seating so that you can dine in the great outdoors.

Site rules and policies
All dogs to be under control, especially around the animals.
Clean up after your dog immediately.
Only BBQs and fire pits approved by staff may be used on-site, for insurance purposes.
If you want to be loud and drunk after hours this is not the site for you, basic campsite etiquette applies.

Things to do on site and in the New Holland area
End the perfect day on site by sitting and watching the sun go down with a glass of your choosing, You'll want to listen to the dawn chorus of birds and watch the animals play, chill and eat. Doing absolutely nothing can also be a real luxury. or join fellow campers for a drink in the Alpacas Arms.
In the village, just five minutes away on foot, you'll find access to the Humber Bank and you can walk for miles along its banks. passing the lovely Cafe (Memories) that is also dog friendly and recommended by the site.
About 5 miles away is Barton, a town of great historical value with museums, the Humber Bridge, great walks and a beautiful nature reserve - great for bird spotting. There are also plenty of cafes, restaurants and pubs with all your small independent shops including a fresh fruit and shep shop and Benson's family Butchers.
Across the Humber via the amazing Humber Bridge is Hull, with its great museums, recommended top of the list is the Hull Street Life Museum—great parks as well as its famous huge aquarium, The Deep.
A train or bus from the local village to Cleethorpes seafront and Barton Upon Humber makes for a perfect seaside day out.
