Set on a farm next to Marhsam Heath, there are plenty of woodland walks to explore with the family or dog, and the Norfolk coast is only a 30 minute drive away. Ideal for families and groups with communal dining areas, kitchens and fire pits. For campers, there are grass pitches for tents only, with the option of a 16 amp electric hook up. Or, for an off-grid experience, campers can choose one of the meadow pitches, each set in a three acre meadow. Each has a 14m x 7m woodchip pad for tents, these pitches are car free, but the site can arrange transport from the car park with their trailers. Meadow guests can have campfires, and if you bring a bow saw, you may cut your own logs from fallen timber. For tourers, there are hardstanding pitches with a 16 amp electric hook up set next to the main facility block. These are suitable for touring caravans, campervans and trailer tents. Seasonal pitch use is also available. For glampers, there are a range of options including furnished bell tents, camping cabins, shepherd's huts and a shepherd's lodge! There are four furnished bell tents, each set on timber panelling with soft cushion flooring. The tents sleeps up to five with comfortable futon beds set up as a double and two or three singles, there are also two small tables and a lantern. Outside each is a picnic bench. Bedding is provided and sorry, no dogs. There are six camping cabins too, each sleeping up to three, equipped with a bunk bed and a camp bed. The cabins are heated and have a kettle and microwave oven. Outside is a decking area complete with table and chairs. Guests will need to bring all bedding, crockery and dishes. Sorry, no dogs. The cabins are close to the 'Sunrise Cafe', a covered area used for the communal fire pit, chiminea and BBQs. There is also a shared fridge/freezer. There are three luxury shepherd's huts for guests to choose from, each spaced apart in the 'Ovens Mouth' field on the westerly edge of the farm. Each shepherd's hut has an ensuite shower and toilet, a small kitchenette, king-sized bed and living areas. Outside each is a private outdoor space with a picnic bench and BBQ. Bedding and towels are provided in all shepherd's huts. Finally, the shepherd's lodge is a larger option, sleeping two with a comfy king-sized bed and an open plan living area with cosy seating and a wood burner. The kitchen has a combi-microwave grill, a two ring induction hob and fridge. There is an ensuite bathroom and the shared 'Grill and Chill' shack for cooking larger meals, with a BBQ and picnic bench. The site is dog friendly, with dogs allowed in the camping fields, and Isabel and Florence shepherd's hut for an extra fee. Sorry, the bell tents, camping cabins, Molly shepherd's hut and shepherd's lodge are pet free. Fire pits are available to hire and wood is available to purchase for campfires, BBQs are provided, but these must be raised from the ground.
