Set amongst an array of trees and open spaces, Roundhill Campsite is the perfect New Forest getaway with an onsite lake and curious wild donkeys and ponies. Just five minutes to Brockenhurst and 15 to Lyndhurst, this site is well located and a great base for exploring all the New Forest has to offer. The site has 265 non electric grass pitches and one bell tent, with walks in every direction, there is plenty to explore.

This peaceful site welcomes both families and pets, only five minutes to Brockenhurst and ten minutes to Beaulieu. Camp amongst nature with spacious woodland pitches and wild animals roaming, just 25 minutes to the nearest beach! The site has 265 grass pitches without electric, guests can pitch up wherever they like as long as they keep 6m away from other campers. These pitches are suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes either secluded under the woodland or out in the open field. There is also one bell tent onsite sleeping four (two adults and two children) with one double bed and two single sleeping mats. Included is LED lighting, a BBQ with utensils, picnic bench and cool box. Please bring your own bedding and cooking equipment. Bigger groups are welcome on a separate rally fields which can cater for up to 150 pitches. There also pitches available for seasonal use. Your four-legged friends will be kept happy, with a myriad of cycle paths and footpaths taking you into the forest, perfect for a family day out in the great outdoors! BBQs are allowed as long as they are specifically designed for cooking food, sorry no fire pits. BBQs must be raised from the ground and leave no damage on the forest floor. No disposable BBQs are permitted. Guests are asked to keep to the New Forest Code to help look after the area. Also, the site asks that you do not feed or approach any of the animals around the campsite as they may bite or kick, and to keep all food sealed and out of reach of the curious donkeys and ponies!

Whilst onsite, there is plenty of safe grassy areas for children to play in and make their own fun! There is also a lake onsite where you can watch as the ponies take a drink in their natural habitat.
The site also has access to a winding network of forest cycle paths, so be sure to bring the bikes along! Or you can rent one from Trax Bike Hire (20 minutes) as well as Forest Leisure Cycling in Burley (20 minutes). Fishing is available at the nearby Hatchet's Pond and permits can be bought onsite.
You can also go horse riding in the forest or head a little further afield to one of the area's many attractions. The local area has plenty to offer with the Beaulieu Motor Museum (10 minutes) with a cafe, the World of Top Gear exhibition and on-screen cars!
