Medium Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric)Sep 2023
First visit to this campsite and to North Devon (which is stunning) and it won't be our last. The views from all grass pitches are just lovely, from the thatched cottage to the horse paddock at the top of the hill. Our kids loved interacting and feeding the Alpacas and goats. Toilet facilities and amenities room are brilliantly arranged, all very clean and conveniently located.
Found the location to be a perfect balance. Close enough to amenities in Bideford and local tourist attractions, but just far enough away to feel remote from the outside world.
We had great weather, which enhanced the experience, but the set up at this site is a credit to the owners.
Just 2 hardstanding pitches (plus camping field that is closed in winter), so 2 male, 2 female toilets and 2 showers were sufficient. All amenities were impeccably clean. Indoor washing up room was a welcome bonus, along with fridge, freezer, kettle & toaster for campers use. Very quiet - no farm or animal noise at all. Will stay again when we are next in this area.

Absolutely brilliant camping in a beautiful setting. So peaceful and exceptionally clean and well organised. Few pitches meant no queues to toilets and showers, which were very clean. Also an honesty box for a selection of snacks on sale in amenities room. Will definitely book again.
