Located on a hill overlooking the Axe Valley, this family and dog friendly glamping site is situated near the South West Coastal path. With luxurious interiors, an outdoor veranda and fire pit, they come with everything you need for a relaxing break. The six safari tents each have an equipped kitchen with a gas hob, fridge, crockery and utensils as well as basic ingredients such as salt, pepper and olive oil. The comfortable interiors include Egyptian cotton linen on all of the beds, and extra blankets and towels. Each tent has both an indoor and outdoor dining area, as well as a heater to keep you cosy in the evenings. A bathroom with a hot shower and a proper flushing toilet is also included, along with solar panel-powered lights, lanterns and USB phone charging sockets. Outside, you'll find a huge veranda for taking in the gorgeous sunsets while enjoying a pre-dinner drink, plus your spacious lawn area where you can cook over the fire pit each evening. Rowan, Ash and Maple safari tents are single storey, each sleeping up to five with a double bed, bunk beds and a single daybed. Choose Rowan for the best views onsite. For ample sunlight, opt for Ash which is south facing and isn't overlooked by any other tents, and Maple for some privacy as it is set in its own field. Oak and Willow safari tents are both two storeys, sleeping up to six with three single beds upstairs on a mezzanine level, a double bedroom downstairs and a single daybed. Both of these have an extra large veranda with beanbags. Finally, Beech is a large single storey tent, sleeping up to seven with one double bed, two bunk beds and a single day bed. To keep you entertained, each tent has a toy box, a small selection of books and board games, as well as a rechargeable Bluetooth speaker. Plus, a fossil hunting kit with small rock hammers, safety goggles and a local beach guide. There are also onsite chickens and sheep! The camping fields total around ten acres, offering plenty of space to explore and giving each safari tent some privacy. The site also offers exclusive site hire, to accommodate groups of friends or families of up to 30 people, providing a larger fire pit area and hay bales for group seating. BBQs and campfires are only allowed in the designated fire pits. Up to two dogs are welcome in each safari tent. Guests may request travel cots, high chairs and changing mats if required.
