About Friends Farm Shepherds Huts
A friendly glamping site set on a small working farm, spend your days watching the sheep, horses, pigs and chickens. You can enjoy the surrounding countryside with plenty of walks nearby or venture further afield to the picturesque Norfolk coast or Norfolk Broads.
The site is home to two luxury shepherd's huts which are both handmade by the owners, and situated in their own small paddock. Boasting stunning views across open countryside, each has an outside decking area and a gas BBQ to admire the views or enjoy a spot of alfresco dining.
Each hut features bespoke kitchens with a dishwasher, microwave oven, hob, kettle, toaster, and fridge. The bed folds up into the wall, just pull it down when you're ready to sleep. When the bed is up, the gate leg table can be pulled up with seating too! All bedding, linen and towels are included.
There is also a TV, ensuite shower and toilet, along with a wood burner, electric heating and double-glazing to keep you cosy in the winter months with firewood provided.
Receive a warm welcome from owners Keith and Val, as well as a complimentary welcome pack containing home-produced eggs, bacon and prize-winning sausages.
Dogs are welcome in both huts, but please keep them on leads when outside of the paddock as the site is located on a working farm.

A note from the site themselves...
One of the best things to do at our site is sitting on your deck with a glass of wine or two, marvelling at the views or even one of the amazing sunsets we experience. In the cooler months, the site makes for a great base to kick your boots off after a walk through one of the lovely footpaths or country lanes that surround us.

Luxury two berth shepherd's hut on a working farm. Set in a beautiful quiet location, with stunning views over open countryside. Up to two well behaved dogs welcome.
My partner and I were looking for a last-minute place to stay over the May Bank holiday and were lucky enough to find a vacancy at Friends Farm.
The hosts were super friendly, kind and welcoming, and provided us with complimentary packs of sausages and bacon, as well as half a dozen eggs from the farm. Warning though, the sausages are dangerously delicious so make sure you have someone/people to share them with otherwise you might end up eating the whole pack!
The location was lovely, cosy and clean and the balcony equipped with chairs and a table, with a lovely view over the farm and beyond was perfect, given the weather we were lucky to have.
We had two small dogs with us and had the paddock to ourselves on the second night, which allowed them a bit of freedom too.
We are looking to relocate to Norfolk, and our stay at Friends Farm really gave us a taste of the life we are hoping to have for ourselves.
Overall, lovely, and we would highly recommend.

Shepherd's Hut - Shepherd's ViewAug 2023
Where do I start? The Shepherds Hut was spotless. Built from the ground up by the owner, it has marvellous facilities. The shower was great and the toilet was very modern and clean. The living area was beautiful and was set out in a country style. It had all mod cons. It had 2 electric rings, a fridge, dishwasher and combo oven. The bed folded down from the wall and was really comfy to sleep in. There was also a gas barbecue, loungers and a large parasol at our disposal.
Our hosts Keith and Val were very friendly and welcoming and that extended to putting 6 farm fresh eggs, 6 sausages and 6 rashers of bacon in the fridge ready for when we arrived. At no extra cost. These were all from their farm on which the Hut resides. Everything you need is in the hut but should you need more, there is a farm shop on site that can supply most of the things you are likely to need. Every detail was thought out. Even the wood for the log burner was inside the hut itself should you need it.
It is very dog friendly as the huts sit in a small, well fenced paddock of their own. It was so quiet and peaceful with the occasional bleat of a sheep breaking the solitude. It has a TV in the hut but we listened to the radio most of the time.
Be aware that these are for over 18's only but I think that rule is reasonable if you are looking for a peaceful rest. Overall, this is a 5 star stay and I cannot find anything to complain about.
We had a fantastic time and will book again when we have chance to go.
