About Cosawes Park
Although keen to constantly improve the touring and camping facilities, Cosawes Park has remained successfully loyal to camping's more nostalgic roots, without club houses and with all the beauty of simple nature.
Close to both coast and town, Cosawes enjoys a fabulous, verdant and peaceful location, open all year round. Surrounded by woodland, birdsong is often the only thing you hear, accompanied by the gentle burble of the stream.
Set in a tempting AONB the site is all about peace, quiet, and unspoiled surroundings. This adult-only site has been recognised with the prestigious Gold David Bellamy Award for conservation for many years.
Although pitch sizes may vary, most are approximately 10m x 10m on mainly flat ground with some slight sloping undulation in places. This makes for good drainage in wet conditions. All pitches include electric and hardstanding pitches offer a TV point.
Serviced grass pitches all offer electric and water points, though these may be close to and not necessarily right beside the pitch.
Dogs are welcome provided they are prevented from recurrent yapping/barking and should never be left in a unit unattended for any length of time.
Please note, the site is going through a development project on their main grass camping field. So, there may be some disruption between 10am-4pm Monday to Friday, but the site is working to minimise effects on guests as much as possible.
Site facilities include well maintained toilets and showers, laundry area with iron, undercover washing up area, and free Wi-Fi.
Several supermarkets and eateries are within easy reach, in Penryn and Truro.

A note from the site themselves...
Although the tin mine has long been abandoned, markings in the woods still show where a 14th Century Chapel linked to a Manor House once stood. In April 1949, the Fraser family purchased the land, and it has been family-owned since.
It was first developed into a campsite in the 1960s, and since it has undergone many upgrades and changes but has always managed never to lose its rural Cornish charm.
We are very aware of the importance of an environmentally friendly approach. We strive to be as eco and green as we can. Over the years, we have installed rain-water flushing systems for the toilets, and a heat-pump system for the facilities block, and we only use environmentally safe cleaning products.
We have held a prestigious Gold David Bellamy Award for our conservation efforts since 2012!
As well as being a beautiful place to visit, Cosawes is also a beautiful place to work. We have a small but dedicated team of staff, most of whom are long-standing staff members and all of whom have a genuine affection for the site.
We all take great pride in maintaining the grounds and surrounding area and ensuring that all guests have a great experience while they are with us. Our outstanding customer reviews and regular repeat campers reflect this enthusiasm and diligence!
Non electric grass pitches suitable for a 2 man tent or small campervan up to 6m x 6m.

19 x Premium Hardstanding Pitches
Max 4 people
Level gravel pitches, including electric, water, grey waste disposal point and television aerial connection.
What a fantastic site. Quiet, but not too quiet.
Pitches are huge with facilities not far from anything. We booked two pitches as two couples, and when we received the welcome pack the day before, we were allocated pitches quite far from each other, but on the day the warden was great and moved us to adjacent pitches; great service!!
The facilities block is great. Toilets downstairs, with showers, changing rooms and toilets upstairs too. Tourist information with lots of leaflets (if you're doing attractions I recommend as lots of leaflets have offers in). There's also a large area for washing up and a small laundry room with a fridge freezer.
Practically, the location of the site is also great. A very short drive from both Falmouth and Truro, as well as the best public transport links. We used the bus most days (including Sunday and bank holiday!)
Local amenities are also spot on. And a recommendation for if you want a bit of indulgence, the Norway Inn (about 2 miles up the road) do the most incredible carvery on a Sunday!
We highly recommend this site and look forward to coming back soon!

Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2023
This is our new favourite site, nearby bus routes into Truro and Falmouth. Huge dog walking field opposite campsite, approx 1 mile to walk around with a river running through the centre. The site is clean and well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful
In my opinion, no room for improvement - well done Cosawes, we will definitely be seeing you again.
Site's response

We will be sure to pass on your comments about the facilities to the cleaning and wardening teams, and we look forward to welcoming you back again in the future.
